I'm making cookies in order to look like a cool mom while Charlotte's friend is over. My shirt is now damp with sweat. Damp. I wish our house wasn't such a dump, but what can I do? Concrete floors are dumpy, the end. Char doesn't seem to mind at least. Kids are more forgiving than adults. Also, more honest, so I expect to hear some comments about the permanent leaking sink in the bathroom at least.
Man, I sound dour. Mostly I feel tired, like I'm walking in water, you know that feeling? I feel like everything is flying by and I can't get my feet underneath me. Argh. Well, cookies at least, right?

You don't have to tell me twice. It's stinkin' hot outside. And it's not even the middle of April. Prepare yourself for much more shiny-faced, upper-lip, napkin blotting sweating. I'll be right there with you. We need paper fans and little floral embroidered hankerchiefs to pull outta the bosom.
I had to walk around the neighborhood deliverying flyers yesterday - by the time I got home everything was wet - my shirt, my face, my jeans - I was soaked!! Gross!!
Then I got to turn right back around and go to a Court of Honor with no time for a shower - this weather stinks - literally!!
My mom told me that my allergy meds will make me sweat like that. Good to know.
I think the sweat is quadrupled in Houston!!
