Now it is Wednesday. It feels like church was yesterday, so you can see how it's going over here. Fast. Busy. Not my preference, but what can you do. The weather has finally warmed up to the low 80s, but I think it'll cool down again this weekend. What is up with that crap? It should feel like practically summer. This winter is ticking my tack. (My niece Faith made up that idiom. We all thought it was so lame that we couldn't stop using it. Now it is just part of the Grover colloquial speech.)
I am about to have to get the kids from school. I am super excited about it because I will be revealing our brand new, colorful, dry-erase CHORE CHART. I'm sick of being the maid. Things are about to change up in here, people!
It's the last month of school. And preschool. It's almost as if it never even happened. I feel a slight panic to line up about a million books to read this summer.

Oh my gosh oh my gosh! So much good stuff here!
1. I am tempted to leave church EVERY SUNDAY after the first hour. I have to be careful not to mention it at all, because Em's always thinking it too, and it's like ordering pizza: once mentioned, it's 99% likely to happen.
2. I once heard a rumor that they experimented with 2-hour church. Apparently you alternate Sunday school one week and Preisthood/RS the other. Right?
3. I think we're getting snow tonight. ON MAY 1ST! We brought our cilantro and mint in, the only two plants to survive the last freak storm.
4. Why didn't anyone tell me about "ticking my tack"? That ticks my tack!
5. Lets trade summer reading lists!
I would love 1 hour church, except I very much enjoy sending the little ones to primary so they can talk their teachers' ears out for a couple of hours and give mine a rest.
The 2 hour church was a pilot program in Chile a few years ago. They alternated weeks first, then they had 1/2 hour of SS and 1/2 RS. I experienced it while visiting and it was kinda strange, yet liberating.
BTW, where you in Utah not very long ago? In Brigham City? I hope I'm mistaken, cause I live 10 mins away and would feel so sad and abandoned knowing that you came all this way and didn't tell me :-/ (How's that for a guilt trip?)
Love you!
Amen!
David - The slight panic is that I currently have no list. YIPES! Gimme yours!
Pame - yes, I was there, but it was a whirlwind trip wherein I had no transportation of my own, so I doubt I could have seen you even if I had known you were THAT CLOSE TO ME! ARGH! I miss you!
Hook me up with some deets on this chore chart, please.
