Do you know what rhymes with "vicious?"

"Delicious."

Which is the cycle that Milky Way and Coke have me running through like a hamster on a wheel. A ridiculously delicious meal - I mean wheel - that I have no desire to jump off of. Uh oh - the only problem with that analogy is that a hamster on a wheel is exercising, whereas me...

It's like the book says, "If you give a Jen a Coke, she'll want a Milky Way to go with it. And chances are, when she eats the Milky Way, she will ask for a Coke to wash it down."

First of all this post made me laugh so hard. I am extremely impressed by the visual as well. You are one of the smartest and funniest people I've ever met.

I really appreciate your comment. It made me laugh and cry at the same time! We are going to try to come down this summer for a few days and we'll have to try and do the eating empanadas while the kids tear up the house thing. Sounds like a blast.

Best visual aid, EVER! I'm seriously impressed. And you'll be happy to know that I walked the Waterside Loop 1.5 times this morning! It is long!

You should weigh like 250 pounds. Why is that me and not you?

Your visual is great!

I have to say, though, I think you have the wrong Mars product. There are three that build on each other (3 Musketeers - nougat only; Milky Way - nougat and caramel; and Snickers - nougat, caramel, and peanuts). I think the Milky Way is the least desirable of the three. Snickers - #1, 3 Musketeers - #2, and Milky Way - a distant #3. Sorry.

Is it sad that I have put so much thought into the ranking of those three candy bars?

Laura, this is the way I used to rate the candy bars. Actually, the Mars Bar was my #1, but it is strangely hard to find. It is full of almonds, my fave nut (besides you guys). Suddenly, though, it all changed. Milky Way flew to the top of your three. What's up with that? And Musketeers (who enjoyed a long run starting in elem. school) is WAY down on my list. Coke, though. My constant.

I also love Mars Bars, and Snickers with Almonds. Both of which are hard to find. Almonds in candy bars - delicious!

Beautiful visual! For me, the only thing that goes with a candy bar is a big, cold glass of milk (I would just drink the coke some other time).

No, I'm afraid all candy bars must be eaten with a Dr. Pepper - the only soda worth drinking. I have to say that I agree with Laura that almonds in candy bars make them worth eating. You visual was too cute. How do you very talented people do all these things?

your diagram is AMAZING. my vicious delicious is currently, "if you give jamie any food, chances are she'll want some peanut butter to go with it."

Brilliant allusion... Hey guess what? I was chatting with Pamela online and got the idea to organize a girls weekend in December when Amy Whereatt is coming to UT. Pame is confirming the dates. Wanna come????

My current faves are the Take 5 (deliciously contains pretzel, chocolate, AND caramel--sweet and salty in one totally takes the trophy) and then of course, the 100 Grand. I could literally eat 100,000 of them. Yummm.

Karen - I got it today! SO SO MANY THANKS! I am munching on a chocolate egg right now! That was very thoughtful of you, especially considering your hectic and emotional postpartum + moving to another country situation. Love you! (Milky Way will have to take a backseat for a day or two.)

LOL - hilarious. If I substitute a twix bar for the milky way, then that picture is right on. Heaven help me. I need to stop with the sugar since I have an insulin problem. I never used to crave it, then I had babies.
