I keep getting up at 6am!

What's up? I don't do that. And now, my eyes just keep popping open, and I can't go back to sleep. Of course, I stumble around like a fool starting around 10am, but I can't sleep then, either.

Well, that's how it has been since school started, anyway. Last night it was different. I fell asleep on the couch after the kids went to bed and slept until around 10pm. I fell asleep again sometime after that. After Gabe got up for the millionth time, I went to my own bed and actually slept until the alarm at 6:50. And it felt weird. Am I really used to getting up in the morning now? Does anyone know how out of character this is for me? Can I get a witness?

Do you know how worthless this blog post is? I bore myself.

I can witness!!! Freshman year you slept through any class that was before 10am and the only time I've ever slept nearly all day was with you - we stayed in bed and listened to Ella Fitzgerald... Good times. But you getting up before your alarm is SO unlike you! You need to spread that my way!

Alls I have to say is... "Early to Bed, Early to Rise, Makes a (wo)Man, Healthy, Wealthy and Wise". Maybe your body is trying to change your life with out you even knowing it!!

That is so wierd!!! But I know exactly how you feel! That was me about a month ago. Paul kept asking me if I had set the alarm and was wondering what I had been doing all morning while he still slept. Which was unnecessary; couldn't he see the kitchen was clean?! And sometimes even the LR? I loved it while it lasted! Quiet time (theoretically) and cleaner living space. Didn't feel like such a slug. I thought it was bc I was getting old. And then it was over.

Whoa!!! What is up with that!!! dO something fun with those early hours. Whenever I'm up because of insomnia I try to do something fun that I couldn't normally do with kids around. Me time.

we have the same problem... only we're up at 6:50 every single day... and Grant has been sleeping until 7:30.
Those 40 minutes would make all the difference some how... I know they would.

That is crazy! I have been worrying about the getting up early for school time and I still have a whole year of worry left! Do you like it or hate it?
