I know of no faithless person who:

Prays with her children every day.

Goes to church even when she doesn't want to every Sunday.

Goes to her church meetings for her calling.

Is understanding when her husband has to go to meetings a few hours a week for his calling.

It is the trial before our witness that allows us to go through a time of emptiness to be prepared for the responsibilities that come with our answers. Ether 12:6 doesn't say we have trials by random circumstance, but "NO witness until after the trial of your faith."

Hold on to that rod that you teach your children so well at grasping to! Know that if you turn away at your trial, you only are setting yourself up for another one if you go seeking for a "witness" on some other road.

I admire your dedication and integrity and you are loved by many. You will be in my prayers.

Jen,

I have never left a comment on anyone's blog before. But I can't find your e-mail address in your blog anywhere, so I am going to leave a comment...If you hate it feel free to delete it...you don't need a lecture, or advice from me or anyone else. You are doing the best that you can. I can see it when I read your blog. Your best is good enough. You are enough.
