A little girl!
Her name is Catalina Mae. That has changed from yesterday when they had named her Antonia Mae. But, according to the dad, Catalina is now on the birth certificate.
She's beautiful, of course, and very very sweet. She was born yesterday morning and has all the regular stats - 7 lbs, 14 oz., 20 something inches, etc.
I am super excited that she is here. She looks a lot like Minnie to me, but she changes looks every time she moves her face. But mostly I see Minnie and Sarah. My mom and Sarah and Angelo keep calling her fair and light-haired. I ain't seein' it. Of course, it may be because my kids are see-through. But I only saw Catalonia Mae late in the evening in a dim room with a little cap on. Awww, sweet little cap. I love that stuff.
Oh, yes, Sarah, I said Catalonia. Really, though, I keep using her whole name. CatalinaMae. CatalinaMae. CatalinaMae. So, if you change it again, I'm calling her Jennifer.
Okay, folks, that's it! Another darling niece for me! And the 14th grandchild for my parents. Cah-razy.

She is beautiful and I can see why Sarah is calling her fair skinned. She so doesn't look latino - I think she looks like Ike. Congratulations on the new niece!!
Jen, thanks for keeping us up on the name...we were thankful for Antonia this morning in our prayers, although I am sure God knew who we were talking about.
