Claire had a bad dream. Bats in the house. Frankly, that would scare me, too.
Gabe has been up and down all night. He's currently sobbing in his room crying out, "Uncle Daddy? I need you!" It's horrible.
He slept with us over the Christmas break b/c we had house guests in his room. He is still in the habit, and I am trying to have him sleep in his own room. So, he wanders down repeatedly in the night.
I'm equally heartbroken and frustrated by this.
Instead of going back to bed and enduring the agony of getting out of it again if a kid wakes up, I'm typing.
Status report:
- The house smells like dinner. Yuck.
- The house is a wreck. Boo.
- The library books were due December 3rd. Yipes.
- Charlotte has exactly 1 pair of jeans that she will have to wear every day this week. D%&*%.
- I need to shower. Typical.
I'm in surprisingly a not-bad mood about it all. I don't like it, uhcourse, but I'm not confined to the couch about it. Pretty awesome.
Gabe has miraculously stopped sobbing and crying out hopelessly and heartwrenchingly (for me and for him, I'm sure.) Do I dare get in bed? I could always read. No books. Oh yeah, the library ones, but, besides having been read, they induce guilt. Rats.
Welp, it's been fun, folks. Tomorrow morning is gonna BITE, and I'm not sure y'all are worth it. Kidding, I'm pretty sure.

sorry about the lack o' sleep my friend. i'm with you on the kiddos waking up. e has been having troubles sleeping through the night as well. i hate the thought of "crying it out"...it just feels completely inhumane to me.
I know how you feel!
