Nancy Drew and the Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake

Well, Nancy is back in business on the old PC. I've been waiting a solid week to start a new mystery game (I got THREE for Christmas - thanks Liz!), and today was the day. I began by getting Nancy'd out: she always freshens up and enjoys a light luncheon before sleuthing. I slapped on a headband and some lipstick and enjoyed a pile of Reese's peanut butter cup miniatures. And away I went.

The last Nancy Drew PC game I played, I was a Junior Detective, which is an easier version of the game, you know, with hints and stuff. It took me, I don't know, 3 days maybe of virtually non-stop playing and copious notes to solve the case. I think I died 3ish times.

Still a Junior Detective on this case, it would have been solved in one day if I hadn't already broken my neck falling through a floor, been blown up three times, drowned once, and beaten to death with a bone six times. Yup. All I have to do is catch the dang killer, but I'm stuck in the bottom of a well. I keep saying, "I've gotta keep moving so Killer doesn't catch me!" But where am I to go? BOTTOM OF A WELL, FOLKS. I ain't Harrison Ford.

So, taking a page from old Nancy, I am going to go home to freshen up and enjoy a light luncheon. I'm pretty sure that will translate into sleeping all night and eating all the rest of the Christmas candy. I'm telling you, people, I really do think I'm Bess.

Ouch!!! That game sounds dangerous! It's a good thing it's all virtual. I love the lipstick .

I still can't believe how much more violent the game is then the books ever were (at least the original books). Remember to bring on to our Primary meeting on Thursday so I can try it!

You ARE spruced up. Love the red lips and the headband. You are hilarious.

Can I join you next time for your light luncheon? Then I'll be Bess.
