Anger Management Issues

What is up with my kids!? Ok, I can't describe the ludicrous fits of rage that Gabe throws. It's out of hand. Hitting furniture and people, flopping, screaming "NO NO NO," wailing, glaring, throwing things...

Then there is Claire. She has recently decided to cry as soon as she is spoken to or given an answer to her questions or has to perform any task. Full on. Jumping, flopping to the ground, doing that lip thing where you suck in your breath and your lip is just flapping. It sounds like "Fuhfuhfuhfuh" on the inhale. Screaming I DON'T LIKE THAT, crying that her legs hurt and she can't move and she can't stop crying.

And Charlotte. When you FINALLY get her attention and get the point across, she dissolves into tears. Loudly. Not high-pitched. Just hollering away, right in front of you, unstoppable.

Ok, I'll leave it to my sisters to comment, but I really don't think they got it from me. I mean, of course I'm not perfect and I snap and whatnot, but honestly. Sarah, Liz, you've seen my kids. Honestly - really - is it from me?

I can't stand it. Can't can't can't. Oh, and I don't want advice; I want commiseration.

Just enjoying a good laugh at your expense. Thanks! All kids are rotten at different times in their lives for different reasons. You just happen to have three rotten kiddos at the same time right now! HA!

Talk to me in 2 years. I'll commiserate then. I mean seriously-- I know I will. They are the products of Sam & me after all. It's inevitable.

Jen I completely understand. At least your child didn't head butt his teacher and give her a huge black eye. She still loves him because she is a saint and is going straight to the Celestial Kingdom. You will probably never have to worry about that because mine is a special needs child. I totally get how frustrating and maddening it can be.

Oye Vey... all at once.. that's tough, but I do feel for you. I have a 17 year old, 14 year old, 11 year old and 7 year old that do those things and I think it comes from me.. at least you can say it's not you!

Scott was the worst of my four. He totally lost control a couple of times in kindergarten and first grade. Fun times. He can still make the biggest deal of something that doesn't go his way - which is really annoying coming from a 15 year old! By the time they move out of the house, they have usually grown out of that. Or if they haven't, they are at least out of the house! So you've only got 16 - 17 more years, tops!

Ugh I really hate those times. My girls haven't been through at phase like that at the same time yet thank goodness, but we've had days!

my two are wild like that too, thing is am afraid it most likely does come from me, def not my husband. I'm hoping this little boy we have coming to our family is going to take after his Daddy in personality, nice and easy going.
