Saturday is a special day...

...it's the day that's just like every other! Can you sing along? Andy works 6 days a week, so I just have another weekday. HOWEVER, since my brother-in-law Jared was home, he took my girls with him for a few blissful hours. I love family! So, while Gabe napped, I finished "The Promise" by Chaim Potok. Includes mental illness, of course, but in the 50's from the point of view of 1969 publishing date, so it was kinda weird. But I liked it. I didn't think I would; the beginning was hard for me. But I really did like it. 4 stars. Tonight we are going to my other brother-in-law Angelo's birthday party. FINALLY 30 years old (with 6 kids)! Andy just got home and is showering. I think he may have installed a backsplash today. Dirty work, and apparently he's gotta do it. We don't have a gift to bring - as usual - but I balanced my checkbook this evening, and I will be able to get that on Monday. Now, all I have to do tonight is make sure everyone has clothes for Sunday, go buy some food for Sunday (I could make it without more food, so I may skip that part), and find out where and what time my stake assignment is tomorrow.

It's weird to never go to my own ward.
