I've started over writing this post 3 times now. That's a sure sign I haven't got anything to say. Too bad, people. I'm writing anyway.
I went to the gym this morning without my gymfriends. As hard as that usually is, it was harder today b/c the childcare center has added a rule: Shoes and socks required at all times. We are bare-feet folk. My kids went ballistic when I told them to change their shoes and to find socks and to HURRY BECAUSE THE CLASS STARTS IN 5 MINUTES AND WE ARE 15 MINUTES FROM THE GYM AND THAT DOESN'T COUNT THE TIME IT TAKES TO CHECK YOU INTO CHILDCARE!!!
Ok, I didn't scream. I mean, I DID, but that was only to be heard since they were screaming like banshees the whole drive to the gym, across the parking lot, down the hall to childcare, and as I dropped them off. I told the ladies NOT to page me to come take care of them today. They could just cry for all I care.
They didn't, of course. As soon as there was no mom to abuse, they were extremely happy and playful. I'll give them props - they remained happy when I picked them up and all through our morning errands.
I laid them down for naps, and then I fell asleep on the couch. If they were as tired by their behavior as I was, they should have slept, too. Apparently, however, children have powers of endurance beyond our capacity. See why you need chores, kids?

Sarah is not the only one bored. Now that we're moved and everything is unpacked, I don't have anything to do, no money since the sale hasn't gone through yet, so I can't even go anywhere because gas is so expensive... I'm reading ALL of your blog. love it. and LOVE YOU!!!
Hey Jen, sorry I haven't emailed but so far our vacation has consisted of getting the stomach flu and getting lice from a cheap motel we stayed at in Abilene. We are goign to go to Disneyland tomorrow nbow that we are not throwing up and are bug free. Also Lorin was baptized which was even more wonderful than you can imagine. I love your blog. I miss you so so so so much. Also your toilet picture makes me happy.
I just sat down to read up on the blog sites as my family has been in town for about a week (they left yesterday) and I realized you haven't posted in 4 days!!! And I thought to myself what is up with that??? And then I remembered! I am so jealous of you for getting to hang out with Chanda and Morgan with the whole fam! And doing girly stuff with everyone! We are going to be so boring for them when they get here! Anyway, I hope you took pics! Love you! You should come visit us sometime!!! Maybe one of those times when Andy goes away you can skip on up here. Our girls can play and we can sit around unshowered - reading, chatting, ikea-ing! hahaha. anyway, that would be fun!
