Follow up: The door arrived, and we have yet to install it.

Ok, well, I don't know what is up with me. Hormones, I guess. I drink 5 cokes a day (and I DO NOT feel bad about it!), lay around, and, yes, play computer games. Andy took Claire to work today, and Gabe napped a lot (thank you thank you!), so I just lounged about. I got to talk on the phone to my friend for an hour and a half!!! It was too too good.

It's midnight and the house is quiet. I'm in my soon-to-be-closed-off office with all the lights on. Fact about me: I can't sit around in the dark. I'm not afraid of the dark, and I like to lie around and sleep in the dark, but otherwise I have to have all the lights on all the time or I get all down and cranky and a little sad. L-o-o-o-n-g sentence there, Jen(nifer). Eating in the dark is especially despised. I would rather not watch movies in the dark at home as well, much to the chagrin of my husband and brother-in-law.

Just so you know, I am reading the blogs if not commenting - restricted blogging hours changes a lot, apparently. Oh -news of the day - Charlotte has her first loose tooth. The bottom two, actually, and the permanents are grown up right behind them. She is both happy and scared. ("I'm pleased and scared to be here." -- Anyone? HAIRSPRAY! Amanda Bynes playing Penny Pinkerton.)

Well, that's the boring summation. All the milk expires today, so I guess I'll have to shower to go to the grocery store in the morning/afternoon. I haven't decided whether or not I'll refill the coke in the fridge. Stay tuned...

Just so you know, I staunchly refuse to delete posts, but if I did, this one would go. BORING. Oh! I'll add some life aspirations: auto mechanic, copyeditor, electrician, college graduate, trilingual. I am trying to find a way to accomplish all this from the couch ;)

I also have "eating in the dark" near the top of my "things despised" list. Can't stand it.

I bet you could pull off the trilingual thing from the couch. You already have a head start on Spanish and I think I remember you taking French back in school. You can usually find old edition language textbooks on Amazon for a few cents.

Jen,
just so you know I tried to leave a comment last night but there was some error and I was not allowed to leave it and my comment was erased. Just so you know I'm not ignoring your blog.

I think you could do all of those things from the couch (except for maybe mechanic. Too messy.) You are one of the smartest people I know.
I am so glad you have a policy of not deleting posts. I love reading all of them.
Oh and by the way, I also don't like to eat in the dark. I like to see my food. I think it tastes better when I can see it.

Why do you have yarn love as one of the links you love?

Yarn Love is founded by my friend Katie Buhner. Gotta promote! I know Kimberly yarns stuff.
