Nothing much

I just watched "Mamma Mia!" for the second time, and I couldn't stop laughing. And I don't care how sucky Pierce Brosnon sings, he is SO worth watching. I never thought I had a "type" because the people I dated were really all over the board, but it seems that I really like me a guy with dark hair and light eyes. Good thing for Andy, eh?

Andy has a type too - me. But, to be fair, his celebrity beauty is Angelina, so here's a picture just for him.

We just got Apple TV, and it is so fun! It's not a tv. It hooks up to the tv. I can't give a good explanation of it, so you can look it up, but I can rent movies from it and I can watch my own dvds from it and I can listen to my itunes from it. Oh, and the screen saver is pictures from Andy's mission (I didn't have a say in that).

In other news, a lady approached me in the the Wal-Mart today and told me that her husband and she had been admiring how well behaved my kids are. YES! YES YES YES!!! I was so gratified and proud of them. They really were well-behaved. Even more impressive, they had gone to bed very late the night before, and they were really flagging, but they made it (I promised soda at the check-out).

I wish I had my camera on me also, because Claire was in full diva mode. She was wearing a Hello Kitty hoody, hood up of course, pink sparkly sun glasses, plaid pink walking shorts, pink flip flops, and she was carrying my cell while breezing past people in a nonchalant manner. I almost wet my pants. Charlotte was Handy Helper, loading the groceries onto the checkout and then the sacks into the cart, holding my keys and purse while I paid. Even Gabe, yes even him, he was tired and cranky but doing fine. Of course, I have to sing throughout the shopping process, so we are basically a circus-in-a-cart. His current shopping favorite is "K-k-k-Katie" from the good ol' days. If you don't know it, I will be happy to sing it.

Oh, and since I am playing the insomniac (been to bed 3 times but have not fallen to sleep) I forgot to mention - kudos to you and your kiddos!!

That is soo exciting that they all three behaved at the exact same time! Lol. And I wish I could have seen claire. Mike said he saw you too. Busy day for you yesterday, huh? ;)

I love that your kids were all behaving at the same time. That sounds like a perfect shopping trip!!! When my mom had to take us to the store Lisa would do kart-wheels down the aisle, Shelly would cry, Mindy would go up to every spanish speaking person and try to speak spanish to them (she could not speak she only thought she could), I would wonder of totally oblivious, and Rick would scream, have tantrums, and pull stuff off of the shelf that he wanted. Store visits with my own children aren't to far off.

Hi Jennifer,
That is so cool someone complimented your awesomely behaved kids. What makes it even better is I just read your Stinkeye post. Funniest ever, and yes, you do deserve the Oscar for Best Performance - Stinkeye. Love it.

Fantastic--it would not be the same if all 3 kids were not in character. I can just picture it now--the diva, the helper, and cute little Gabe. I love your style.

Jennifer,
You should just blog about what Sam told you - we all want to know now!

Also, Kimberly has Apple TV. She got it for free when she and a friend went to see the Ellen DeGeneres show. She has never used it. I'm not sure she really knows what all it does. You need to enlighten her. Or maybe I should just steal it from her!

i loved your description of claire "in full diva mode." don't you love it when, for at least one time, your kids give you a break?

Jennifer said...

All Sam told me was that he really admires how intelligent, well-groomed, and sane I am.

If you're going to lie you could at least make it believable.

You're right, Sarah. He told me that I'm a hag for officially changing my name and they have put me on probation. He cited the story about the pioneer ladies who stole cream from each other.

Now that sounds more like it.

holy crap you guys are hilarious. just reading your comments i almost wet my pants! (probably to much info) but kudos to THREE well behaved kids. thats awesome. I've got just two and they are off their rocker. i went in to Target today super fast (seriously, i ran through it) to get kailyn her little shoes for church and i was in there literally, like 3 minutes and the kids both had historical melt downs. And i had to pee sooo bad not to mention it was nap/lunch time. So i guess dumb me for running to target. eh? but yeah for well behaved kids!

Yay for well behaved kids!! Awesome! And I also have a type - I don't even admire guys with blonde hair anymore - it has to be dark hair!!
