I'm back! With a new set of rules!
Hello!! Oh, how I've missed you! My pinky is almost not numb, and I just can't take it anymore. But, as I said in the title, I've established some rules for myself:
I will only be blogging at night. That means writing as well as reading. I will actually keep the computer shut down until after the kids go to bed*. As difficult as that will be, I really enjoyed the days here in this short break. I started doing things that I used to really enjoy which I haven't done for so long: reading, playing the piano, putting on make-up. I was rushing to the computer so much and enjoying games and browsing the web and whatnot that I just didn't do anything else. How sad.
I will not play Webkinz.com. I will not play any computer games for longer than 15 minutes. It's an addiction. I just can't stop myself.
*Exceptions always exist, and in this case it is that I will allow myself to get on the Internet for things such as looking up information. NOT celebrity gossip and whatnot, but actual yellow pages sort of stuff or past Ensign articles, that kinda business.
So, I will see you all later tonight as I am enforcing the rules startiiiiiiing...

I laughed out loud about the webkinz games! I am so bad about that! AND then I feel guilty for getting some ridiculous high score that no child will ever beat!

i do that too. the waiting til the kids go to bed part. but only until travis kicks me off and has to study. time does fly though when your on the computer.

Yay! I'm so glad you are back! Its nice to see your beautiful face! I like your rules. I am thinking about doing that too. I went on a forced hiatus when our computer broke and I actually felt a lot happier. Even though I desperately want to check everyone's blog and be current. Weird. Oh, I wanted you to know I put you as a reference for one of my financial aid applications for school. I don't know if they will actually contact you, but I wanted you to know! Love you!

i had to make rules for myself, too. so, i'm like you, only checking blogs once a day and all other internet access is business only!
