I slept most of the day

Hurray! And that is even after showering and dressing this morning. It was luxurious!

Yesterday my internet went funky. I was desperate. I resorted to playing the games that came with the computer. Actually, the "free trials" that came with the computer. They give you three times on a game, and then they take it away. You have to buy it if you want it. Well, I started playing this intensely dull and stupid virtual village game. And now it is gone. And I am wondering how my little villagers are doing. There were only 68 berries left on the tree! Did they find another foraging spot without my help? So not worth buying, but still. I think of them.

I really like spring break. This is the first year I've had a kid in school, and I wasn't sure I'd like having three kids at home again all week. Turns out, it is so great! I don't have to be up at any time. I don't have to be home at any time. I don't have to have clean laundry or baths or anything! Woo hoo! I am not good at structure.

Oh, I forgot to include one of the questions on Lori's tag yesterday: Who was the last person you hugged? It was Gabe. But that changes minute by minute. My kids have been pretty snuggly lately.

Snuggly kids are the BEST! Babies of course are snuggly because they are yours and you care for them. That is all they know. But kids? Snuggling from kids is a conscious choice...a fleeting moment to catch before they grow up too fast. It's those times when you feel your heart growing three times its normal size. Enjoy!

I slept most of the day too, but not for pleasure. I am sick, sick, sick! Ugh!

P.S. I was consistently impressed by Charlotte's independence today. She is such a little version of you. :)

Rachel's lil bro, Beno, discovered a fun, free little computer game called Castle Clout Return of the King. All you do is shoot a catapult using the space bar, but it is thoroughly entertaining. You should give it a try.

All of my kids are very snuggly. If either Gary or I are ever sitting still one of them, often a couple of them, are on our laps. I thought that was normal for kids to cling to you like a baby koala. I am starting to notice in some families the kids sit down and the parents sit down and there is no piling up on top of parents by children. Sometimes I grumble about how much my kids have to be touching me at all times but I love it and I am glad we are the kind of family that cuddles.

I thought I told you: DIgby's Donuts! I'ma buy it for your birthday—you just say the word.

My word verification is:

shumpla: n. (shəm'plah) the act of jumping on an overstuffed suitcase in order to latch it closed; a shouted exclamation accompanying such an act.

It's sure been a lazy Spring Break for us, but it's been nice. I enjoy not having the structure, too! Yay!! My kids have had their "bored" moments, but, hey it's a "break"! We have enjoyed our time together, though.
