I went shopping.

I actually wish Liz would write about so I don't have to. I made her and our sister Mary go with me, stay with me in the dressing rooms, evaluate the clothes, and basically pick them all out for me. The good parts were the chocolate covered cheesecake brownie and the large coke. And the company, of course. And losing the keys (we found them in the shopping bag after checking the bag. To be fair, we only did the jingle test - shake the bag, listen for the keys to jingle.) And losing the car (we found it where we had left it, of course, so maybe it was more like losing us in the parking lot.)

I like shoe shopping, actually, but I don't ever buy anything because I don't have clothes to go with them. But I usually find tons that I love. This time was no different. I found tons. Bought I actually bought one and a half pair. You heard me. Liz and I split the cost of one fabulous pair of heels.

Anyway, I did buy clothes. Two church outfits consisting of skirts, sweaters, and tanks. An extra tank for "variety" as they say. Two pair of jeans. A pair of earrings and a bracelet. That was just for fun. Oh, and a pair of shoes for Gabe that I just remembered are still in the bag. Easiest purchase of the night. Except the food.

Now I don't have to shop again for five years. Those zippers better last. I mean, it couldn't have anything to do with the 20 pounds I've gained since I bought the skirt.

Here are the shoes fabulous enough to own half of. I couldn't get all the fabulousness into the picture, but trust me, these shoes are powerful. And surprisingly comfortable.

Those shoes are fierce! I would also feel very good about owning one of those 2 shoes. Jeans, skirts, wide leg pants? The snake-skin-strappies will go to work for you.

I saw Jennifer on Sunday, and she looked FANTASTIC! At least one of her new church outfits is great! I'm assuming the other one will be great too.

Kudos to Liz and Mary for their shopping skills.

I can actually see how they would be comfortable! You have quite the sexy ankle!! I love 'em! Congratulations on all of your purchases, very smart of you to take reinforcements. I should do that too! I bet it forces you to buy SOMETHING whereas if you went alone you can easily throw everything back!

That sounds like a lot of fun. I would have loved to have gone but I guess I wasn't invited.

i love shoes! I think loving shoes must be in women's genetic makeup. Because I don't know one who doesn't love shoes! And why didn't sarah go?

Yeah, I wasn't invited either. I would've gone in thirds on those snake shoes too, saving you guys another bundle. And I would've let you finish my coke.

Your loss.

Sarah, you would not have gone. But I should have invited you. Would you like to spend five hours clothes shopping with me?

I invited myself...but really had no time to join you. I REALLY would have gone thirds on the shoes. What size are they? Oh, BTW LOLing abt the "Tell him no" comment. It SERIOUSLY took me ten minutes before I "got it". Don't worry, "NO" is my new BFF! Somehow he is starting to think I am a Bee-otch. Oh well! I think I like being bee-otch-ee.

Sarah, you can always come shoe shopping with me. The benefit of that arrangement is that we will never grab for the same pair as I wear a size twice that of your petite, cute-toed feet.
