Birthdays are important! The day we became mortal. The day we attained our second estate (those who don't understand that, email me for the Mormon crash course). I bet I was SO SO SO excited when I found out I was coming to earth! I bet my mom was excited not to be pregnant anymore.
By the way, Mom. Congratulations on having a bouncing baby girl 32 years ago! I am bouncing a little more now, well jiggling really, and I have had an excellent life. Thank you so much for giving it to me. Thank you for all the decisions you made that got me to this point. You really are an incredible mother. I think of you constantly as I try to mother in a good and loving manner. My childhood is the single solitary part of my life that I have absolutely zero bad memories of. None whatsoever. Thank you! Hey Dad, I seriously doubt you read this blog, but Mom does on the sly, so she can tell you that I say thank you! I bet it was crazy celebrating my birthday the first time. And I am so glad that you were there for that one and every one since then. I always felt safe and loved and understood. And, if I count the birthdays I've had with you, I'm not even thirty yet!
