One day my friends and I were driving through a canyon in Utah to do I-don't-know-what. Best bets are going to Arches Nat'l. Park or going to Cosco's in Sandy. Either way. On the side of the road was this gigantic, gorgeous, random hill of red dirt. Naturally, I made them pull over so I could run up to the top and then run back down.

That dirt was so neat. It was really fine and soft, not grainy, almost creamy. Like Bare Minerals makeup, if you happen to use it. I bet there were millions of dollars of foundation minerals on that pile should any of us happen to be that color.

You can get a sense of the size of the thing by my tiny little self standing at the top. Do you see me? I'm a speck in the middle.

Coolest part - that hill is still there. Yep, saw it in Utah last summer. I can't imagine that there are more than one, but if there are, all the cooler.

Arches! Presidents' Day! Fara's car. I am in love with you. It has a lot to do with that day.
