Best childhood dream of all time:
Once I dreamed that the entire closet door was covered in Cabbage Patch Kids and there was a new swingset in the backyard. I couldn't contain my joy. And then I woke up. And instead of being disappointed that it wasn't true, I remember being very impressed with myself for having thought up such a fantastic scenario. And I'll have you know that I am hard-pressed not to buy myself a CPK doll even now. There is crack in that baby-powder scent.

I totally bought a cute CPK doll....pretty recently! It was sort of an obsession- D and I searched for WEEKS to find one with my birthday and the one we found is an adorable girl with an olive complexion and green eyes- could be our daughter! I didn't even have to open the box to smell the WONDERFUL baby powder/CPK scent!!! Totally took me back to when I had premie twins that came with a baby monitor. Fun times!
BTW- I'm totally hooked to a bag of pitocin and waiting for my own little CPK baby... Your blog has entertained me for a good forty-five minutes. Bless you!
Your memory is impressive girl... I don't even remember the clothes that I have on in photos, let alone random thoughts of clothes I wore as a three year old!
